food journal

I am coming to realize that I will have to keep a food journal every stinkin' day so that I keep myself on track.  I am a member of WW and have had some weight loss success and some weight gain, but I learn more about myself and what my nutritional needs are all the time.  So the time of weight gain is not completely wasted. It's just a downer.  I'm really stubborn about giving up some things and adding more vegetables to my everyday food plan.

Decided to give up a nighttime snack.  Not perfect, but 2-3 times a week is a start.  Also decided to stroll around the neighborhood after dinner now that the daylight is later. Small steps lead to big results, repeat.

Feel free to browse around the site. You may want to start with setting up your personal page. If you go to 'My Page' at the top it is a very user-friendly process on setting up your page, privacy settings, etc. You can also read and post under 'Blogs' which is found under the 'Members' tab at the top. There are also different discussion forums and groups you can join if you are interested. Do as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

There is a lot to take advantage of so don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!

How was your night last night - thought of your post when I was tempted to grab a snack late in the evening... If you can give up nighttime snacking, so can I! :)
