If you go to 'My Page' at the top it is a very user-friendly process on setting up your page, privacy settings, etc. You can also read and post under 'Blogs' which is found under the 'Members' tab at the top. There are also different discussion forums and groups you can join if you are interested. Do as much or as little as you are comfortable with.
There is a lot to take advantage of so don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
