A nice morning! Yeah.
I did a 3 minute walk / 5 minute run segment today. Not easy. After three groups I ended up doing a 4 minute walk / 4 minute run instead. And then a 4 minute walk / 6 minute run to finish.
Still need to figure out how to eat better. Too many distractions. I bought a small chocolate cake to celebrate Father's Day. Decided on the small because we didn't need more than that. But even so. Its still cake! And this weekend is my son's graduation, and I promised…Continue
Woke up to rain again today. So instead of the power walk I had planned, it was off to the basement for an hour with Jillian Michaels. I did the 30 Day Shred and then Shred It with Weights.
I am a big fan of Jillian Michael DVDs. They are tough workouts.Always make me sweat!
So it was raining Thursday morning, as I predicted. And it rained and rained and rained all day and evening. No run/walk for me! And then, I slept in on Friday and didn't work out...
But today, did the 4.5 mile route at a run/walk, running the 2nd and 4th mile again. Just like last Saturday.
How many days to make something a habit?
Ok, Day 5 - I got up and did my 30 Day Shred DVD before work again today. Yeah!
Tomorrow is a planned walk/run. Hopefully it will not be raining (this morning was beautiful, should have done an outside workout today!)
Ok, another one down. And another hurdle. Today was the first day of no school for my son and my husband took the day off. So no one HAD to get up this morning. But I did anyway.
Went for a 4 mile alternating walk/run. Every 1/2 mile I alternated between a walk and a run. Yeah!
Food choices are still not great, but at least I have taken this step to get off my butt again and start exercising.
