Been a while but still on track

well, I haven't blogged in a while but I have managed to stay on my program without fail and my eating has been pretty good as well. I am pretty excited as I was able to lose an additional 2 lbs, EVEN THROUGH THE HOLIDAYS! That has NEVER happened for me before, but it is amazing that, when you are on a routine you are just more mindful of being healthy. I found that I was not over eating TOO bad on the actually holidays, and as soon as the next day I was back to eating well. Even if I was…See More

30 Days of Lean & Mean in 15.... How'd I do? Results show

Well, I completed my 30 days of Lean & Mean in 15. I committed to not missing any workouts and increasing my intensity to build towards getting in the best shape of my life and staying there. It was my goal to show myself and to non believers that by working out only 20 minutes 5 days per week on Trainer Pete's program, I could maximize my results and use these scientifically backed workouts to shed body fat and build lean muscle. Here is me at my worst, I was 190 lbs and on the wrong track.…See More

Day 25 - Lean & Mean in 15

Lost a bunch of the blog posts but in any event I am in my final week and final 5 days of my 30 day personal challenge. I haven't really checked a lot of stats besides what I see because I know that the scale can be very misleading and I don't want to read to much into it so I am waiting till the end. i wish I had taken my body fat % at the beginning to compare it to now but too late for that.Today was tough getting to the gym but at 8:00 pm, low and behold, i dragged myself in. Started off…See More

Good advice from Trainer Pete

haven't blogged in a while so I might as well give 2. As some of you know I have been on Pete Samberg's Lean & Mean in 15 program. He blogs several topics to participants that get us thinking and I thought this one was great so I cut and paste it here below:

From Trainer Pete on Facebook: The average person gains 5-10lbs from T-Day to New Years....the average person also keeps half that weight on throughout the year...after a few years you could be carrying 20-30 extra lbs. !!!!!… Continue

Hello again

Posted on December 4, 2009 at 4:36pm 0 Comments

I haven't been blogging every day as I did before but I have stayed on my workout program and things are still going great. I was able to make it through the holidays without gaining weight (despite my food and beer intake) It feels good not to worry whether I'm going to yo-yo.

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving and is doing well in their various challenges

Hi Boston,
Thanks for the vote of confidence. It was a combination of getting off some bad meds (for HBP), cutting out extra sugar, and eating my high fiber cookied instead, and starting to exercise more as my back is getting better. Its a perfect storm of good things happening!
Best Regards,
Judy
