Memorial Day eating...

All in all, I did not do too bad yesterday and am pretty proud of myself! I did not even attempt to count points, however I will stick to my daily points for the rest of the week and assume that I used all of my weekly points already. I made some decent choices (compared to those I would have made in the past), and still got to eat my favorite foods. I am not sure how... but I lost 1.6 pounds this week! I did ok getting some exercise in (3 times.. which is really good for me) and ate ok. I did use most of the points for the week, AND I am currently experiencing the torture that mother nature so generously puts our bodies through every month. My husband has started to be much more supportive of my efforts and has been looking for healthier options for our Friday night dinners with friends. A new scale, and another week down staying on plan with a loss! Only 0.4 lbs this week but it is a loss! I am happy with it, though it would have been a full lb had I not gone to Cheesecake Factory last night for dinner. It was worth it though. I split my meal in half as soon as it arrived (ok.. I forgot and had taken a couple of bites first) and 3 of us split a piece of cheesecake. Our exchange student loves the Cheesecake Factory, had only been there once, and is leaving in 3 weeks so it…

My scale broke

LOL, well I did not break the scale at least! It is at least 4 years old and my cat peed on it last night (she is mad because we brought a new puppy into the house) and this morning when I went to weigh in it would not turn on! So this afternoon I will be off to get a new one. Until then I have decided to use my weight from the last time that I stepped on the scale which would be Friday morning. 178.4, so 0.6 pounds lost as of Friday. I can live with that!
