About Me:
Well, it has been months since I've been on here. I have to say that I have missed chatting with everyone, but to be honest, my head just hasn't been in it. Finally though I have jumped back in with both feet and many extra pounds. I've joined WW and am actually going to meetings (which I have come to realize is the key for me) and I've joined a local ladies gym. I know I've said this before, but I really do feel like this is my time because I don't have anything to distract me. I look forward to hearing from many of my old friends on here and finding out how well you've all been doing in my absence.

I got back from vacation last Friday night after a not so good time in Key West (long story), where I hadn't bothered to track anything I ate all week long. I didn't start tracking again until Monday morning and I could tell that my body was fighting me tooth and nail about being put back OP. Shame on me...I haven't blogged on here in a couple of weeks! I have been staying OP though and I usually blog on the WW website just because I'm already there keeping track of my point intake.

Anyway, things have been going good. I feel so much more energetic these days..which is certainly a nice change of pace. I have also been doing A LOT of walking which I think has really helped in my weight loss. I'm averaging about two and a half miles a day and plan on working up to four… Continue

I made my 20lb goal!

I made my 20lb goal yesterday! WOOHOO! I lost a total of 2.4 when I WI yesterday (which brings me to 20.4lbs lost so far) and man am I feeling good! I still have three weeks to go before leave for the Keys, and I'm hoping to get close to 30lbs lost by then. I also set a new personal goal for myself yesterday. I want to be down 50lbs by Christmas. When I WI yesterday, I had lost 4.2 bringing my loss to 18.2 pounds and I've only been OP for 5 weeks now! I was hoping for a 6 pound loss yesterday, but I will certainly take 4.2! I exercised everday since I WI last Wed. (the 19th) and I have been measuring everything carefully...I guess all that really made a big difference. I'll keep it up and hopefully I'll reach 20 by next week!

I can't believe I forgot to post my loss for last week--or more accuratly--my non-loss. I didn't lose anything, but the good news is I didn't gain either which makes me happy. I was a little disappointed when she told me I didn't lose, but not really surprised since I had been pretty lax about measuring everything. My goal was to exercise everyday and measure everything for this week and so far I have done really well with both.

It's one of those days where I woke up and felt depressed for no reason in particular. I feel as if I'm going to break down into tears at any moment and I'm trying to figure out if this could be TOM related.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed at first with the results of yesterday's WI. I lost 2.8, and for a split second I thought, WHAT THE HECK??? However, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I'm not going to lose huge amounts of weight every single week and that slow and steady is the right way to lose it. Even though I have faithfully tracked everything I have eaten in the last week and I have stayed within my points, I still feel worried about tomorrow's WI. It annoys me that every week I start to feel so anxious over weighing in. I'm on the roof and I'm shouting...I lost 5.4 pounds my second week OP! Woo hoo! That's a total loss of 11.4 in two weeks! My cloths are starting to get loose on me once again and my energy level is up...Finally, I'm in control and not the food!

I weighed in at 167 at my meeting last week, trying to get down to at least 150. If I can reach that I might consider 145, but I have alot of extra loose skin from being so overweight I don't know if I can get down that low without doing something about it.

Hello Kay!~ I am so glad you are trying to drop the weight. I know it's hard but WW is the best change...I have ever done and trust me I have done several. I am down 64 lbs and I still have 120 to go. I see we both live in Georgia! Yeah!!

Yes I understand what you said about just wanting to give up when you have a small loss , it's the way I used to be as well but no anymore either. I am in this for the long haul :) I am happy to be an online support for you! I feel like we are similiar in a lot of ways! Oh yes my BF is an awesome guy and he is very supportive. He is also trying to lose weight on WW because of a recent heart attack scare he had so I feel we are both in this for the long haul and for our health :)

Hi Kay,
Thanks for checking on my , that is very sweet of you!! I have been doing ok , just busy as hell this week and I am sooooo glad that Friday is here and the weekend is on it's way!! I was not feeling well last weekend or on Monday or Tuesday of this week but got to feeling much better but now my allergies are acting up so that sucks I popped a Claritin and I should be good to go for the rest of tonight :) Take care and I wish you (((((((loser vibes)))))) on yoru Sunday WI!!
