Canned pumkin in oatmeal anyone???

Hey, last year, I couldn't find a can-o-pumpkin anywhere. I forget what was happening with the pumpkin market but it wasn't available. This year, I found it and snatched up a lot of cans because I remembered people talking about putting pumpkin in their oatmeal.
Oatmeal is one of my TOP favorite foods. So, if you're a pumpkin oatmeal eater. Please share. How much? What do I do? Put it in as it's cooking or what? Enquiringly minds want to know1
