I finally feel like I am in control again. I was able to drop 4 pounds by switching to Filling Foods on WW and it has been a real eye-opener for me. I guess I always knew that this would be a life long commitment to my health, but realizing that staying mindful of my actions has really helped me move on.Now at 134 with 6 more pounds to go to get back to goal (my goal, not my WW goal, which is 132.) It looks like I will not have to buy new jeans afterall, thank goodness. That is what was really…See More

Why I'm here

I am here because I want to be healthy and happy with the way look. I wish it was just about health because that would make me seem less shallow, but alas, I want to look good too.

I think I'll start things out with stating my goals:

1. Run 5 miles without stopping (then start working on getting faster)

2. Lose a few more pounds (I lost 30 on Weight Watchers so far and made goal and Lifetime, but I want to lose a few more--there's that shallowness showing…

Hi Karen,
I like the fact that you are teaching your children about making healthy food choices. I was not taught these things growing up so I never thought about the food choices I made in the past. Bravo for passing your important knowledge onto your children.
