The Time Has Come

I really like clothes and shopping and designer goods and let's just face the music that those clothes are not designed for the thunder thighs of Kelly. I want to feel good, and I want to look good. I need to say goodbye to the days where looking in the mirror freaks me out. I've struggled with my weight my whole life but in college it definitely got the best of me and the time has come to make a change!

I'll get my with a little help from my friends! I absolutely could not do this without the support of my roomie & boyfriend, they motivate me every single day!





Commitment Goals
1. try to get in all the goodies (correct servings of water, milk, fruits and veggies, & healthy oils)
2. TRACK EVERYTHING I put in my mouth!!! even if it's 3 chips - TRACK IT!
3. Stay positive, attitude is KEY
4. Be reasonable with my weight loss expectations
5. STAY ACTIVE, KEEP MOTIVATED!!! (i have a tendency to take a day off from the gym and that turns into 4 or 5 days off. that needs to stop pronto)

Personal Goals
1. Lead a healthy lifestyle beyond just food, I need to make sure I get proper rest and exercise
2. Learn how to cook delicious meals!
3. Continue to go to my classes that I love at the gym
4. Feel comfortable in my skin and body
5. Even if i gain (which i haven't yet, cross my fingers) do not lose hope and get off track

Ok - so a tremendous amount of time has passed since my last blog.



A lot has happened and December was the WORST month of life..... UGH.. but it's 2009 and everything is gonna be just fine in '09!

OK so I went to WI last week really hoping to lose 1.4 so I could hit my 30 lbs mark. WELLL I lost 3.6 making my grand total 32.2 lbs thinner!! It feels so great almost unbelievable. I'm a little nervous for this Wednesday because I had 3 weeks of big losses I don't want to gain any back and I ate a little unbalanced yesterday and gave into my craving for sweets (peanut butter spice cake, granted i made the cake with diet soda 2pts per slice and i made the frosting with fat free cool whip and… Continue

So I was really excited to step on the scale this morning because I knew I had a great week!

I lost another 2.6 last week and I'm ecstatic!! I need to lose 1.4 to hit 30 lbs and I think I can stay on track and hit it next week. We'll have to see... Roomie did really well this week too. I'm very proud of her.

Designer Jeans on Casual Friday

So 2 years ago I bought a pair of Hudson jeans, I spent a pretty penny on them and bought them too small as motivation to get into them... well I didn't. I had gained a lot of weight since I bought the jeans. But today I am wearing them at work!!! I feel so great they look so great. I'm down 26 lbs and happy, I can't wait to lose more!

Also, I calculated my BMI for the first time since starting WW and it's 32 from 36!!!
