For the month of January, I lost 10.5 pounds. I cut down on overeating and sweets and stuck to just water infused with essential oils. The 5K training started off well but the weather got in the way this last week. My first 5K is on March 1st, so I need to get back on track. But first...the Superbowl!
So it has been 1 and a 1/2 years since I was last here. I'm starting all over again, probably heavier than before. My wife and I signed up for a 5K in March and tonight was my first training run using some app. It went well, I'm sore and tired, but in a good way. I thought this was a great place to keep track of my progress, so hello...again!
So I weighed in yesterday and was down 4.4 lbs for a total of 10.8. So far, so good! Plus my wife is down 9.2! I've been making yummy WW dinners and still only drinking water. This week starts standardized testing and our principal is buying us breakfast and lunch... I'll just stick with my plan. Next weekend is Disney so I plan to splurge just a little! I'm going to work my butt off this week!
I weighed in at my local Weight Watchers meeting and lost 1.2 for a total of 6.4 lbs. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I lost 1.2, but I busted my butt all week and thought it would have been more. I still have had nothing but water for 3 weeks and work out at home at least every other night for 30 min. I'm going to add more protein in my diet this week to see if that helps.
