Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week! I had a so- so week. I am fighting illness- so that threw some things off for me. That is ok though. Today I jumped on the scale and a big battery started flashing at me. We have no batteries in the house for the scale- so I will have to try again tomorrow.

This goes back to getting stuck in a rut and then a downward spiral. Beating ourselves really gets us nowhere. Action is what it is all about!!!

Good Morning! I am back safe and sound from the States!
I jumped on the scale this morning- and just like my body and mind told me about balance.... I weighed the same. I will take that!
I am ready to start another race. Good food choices, exercise, time for hobbies..... balance!
I can't wait to cross the finish line Friday. This week, I am looking for any weight loss!!!

HAPPY FRIDAY! I hope everyone had a great week. I am still in the States running around like crazy and loving every second of it. (mostly) :)
I feel like I have had a great week of balance. While I have no scale here with me to tell me..... I realize there are other ways to feel like I have had a great week. BALANCE. Some indulgence. Running is not always easy for me but I do think I secretly like it more than I think. I am a trotter. I love to find a fun shirt to wear and hit the street. My goal is always to finish. I don't know that I can tell you that you will love running but I totally encourage you to sign up for a half and do it. You will love the accomplishment and I have a great 16 week training program I will be happy to share.
You are in a great location in NC for running and not too far from me. A great half marathon is the Shamrock 1/2 in Virginia Beach - so is the OBX half marathon in November. I think it is awesome you have done triathlons - I am a pretty strong swimmer but scared to swim in open water. Sign up for the half - YOU can so do it!!

You can find copies of Power 90 on Amazon. What I liked about this program is that it is less than an hour and the moves were ones we learned as kids. Jumping jacks is one example. What it did for me is help me slenderize. My problem areas in the butt & legs and it has done wonders.
