No Batteries- Lucky Me? Or Not!

Happy Friday!  I hope you all had a great week!  I had a so- so week.  I am fighting illness- so that threw some things off for me.  That is ok though.  Today I jumped on the scale and a big battery started flashing at me.  We have no batteries in the house for the scale- so I will have to try again tomorrow.I am up and waiting to hear how everyone's week went.  The good, the bad, the ugly and the amazing!  It is ALL part of the journey to good health, happiness and balance!Hugs!!!!See More

About Me:
I am new to the blogging world and LOVE the idea of Blogging to Lose! I am so thankful that I stumbled upon this! I have lost 80 pounds following Weight Watchers. Although I have lost a lot of weight, I always struggle with eating issues. I have been gaining and losing the same 10 pounds for the past 3 years. That is my idea of maintenance. I would like to learn how to eat intuitively with no stress. I don't want to have the all or nothing mentality about food anymore. I am really looking forward to this part of the journey!

Happy Friday!  I hope you all had a great week!  I had a so- so week.  I am fighting illness- so that threw some things off for me.  That is ok though.  Today I jumped on the scale and a big battery started flashing at me.  We have no batteries in the house for the scale- so I will have to try again tomorrow.

This goes back to getting stuck in a rut and then a downward spiral.  Beating ourselves really gets us nowhere.  Action is what it is all about!!!

Another Finish Line???

Good Morning!  I am back safe and sound from the States! 

I jumped on the scale this morning- and just like my body and mind told me about balance.... I weighed the same.  I will take that!

I am ready to start another race.  Good food choices, exercise, time for hobbies..... balance!

I can't wait to cross the finish line Friday.  This week, I am looking for any weight loss!!!

Put your running shoes on........ see you there!

HAPPY FRIDAY!  I hope everyone had a great week.  I am still in the States running around like crazy and loving every second of it. (mostly) :)

I feel like I have had a great week of balance.  While I have no scale here with me to tell me..... I realize there are other ways to feel like I have had a great week.  BALANCE.  Some indulgence.  Some restriction.  I did not stress about get togethers at all.  Normally I would want to get out of food related parties- but I was able to manage…

Jill thanks for the comment and friend request.  YOU look absolutely fabulous and you should be so super proud of all of your accomplishments.  Running is not always easy for me but I do think I secretly like it more than I think.  I am a trotter.  I love to find a fun shirt to wear and hit the street.  My goal is always to finish.  I don't know that I can tell you that you will love running but I totally encourage you to sign up for a half and do it.  You will love the accomplishment and I have a great 16 week training program I will be happy to share.  

You are in a great location in NC for running and not too far from me.  A great half marathon is the Shamrock 1/2 in Virginia Beach - so is the OBX half marathon in November.  I think it is awesome you have done triathlons - I am a pretty strong swimmer but scared to swim in open water.  Sign up for the half - YOU can so do it!!

Thanks for the support!  The whole process of checking my blood sugar is all very new to me and it's definitely got me thinking about how my food affects my blood sugar levels (something I'd never really put much thought into before).  If nothing else, I'm becoming more aware of my health in a new way!

Jill,

You can find copies of Power 90 on Amazon. What I liked about this program is that it is less than an hour and the moves were ones we learned as kids. Jumping jacks is one example. What it did for me is help me slenderize. My problem areas in the butt & legs and it has done wonders.
