"The Post-it idea is super! It's a deterrent from even thinking about opening the cupboard!  You will get the energy back and changing your eating habits is a great start to get there! "

Snack Cupboard...you evil friend...

I filled my snack cupboard (I wish I could say that I could get rid of all snackies out of our house but my boyfriend lives on those) anyways, I filled my snack cupboard with post-its stacked up. The stack has small in the home tasks that I have to complete if I open the cupboard like run the stairs 5 times, or do couch crunches 2 sets of 20.I also learned that chugging a large glass of water right when I come home helps to fill my stomach, the trick is to drink it very fast to get the full…See More

GUM!I find myself living on gum. It makes my mouth stay busy and as long as I have a piece of gum in my mouth then I don't seem to be hungry. The only downfall is that I am beginning to realize how bad a food addiction is. It's almost disgusting. In fact, it is disgusting when I start to take into affect all the calories that I was consuming. Bleck! My only wish is that my blogging buddies could be close by to go with me on a walk or hell even a run sometimes. Living in a small town (just moved…See More

"I agree with Keem.  Rid your house of the trigger foods- so you can't have them.  The other piece of advice I have is to track what you eat.  If you have to bite it before you write it... well it can be a pretty good deterrent…"

I did some major soul searching last night first let me tell you yesterday...

I woke up of course, had protein shake for breakfast, no morning snack, a small bowl of a beef and rice hamburger helper for lunch, then boredom struck. I had two chocolate chip cookies, came home made spaghetti has a big bowl of that plus three pieces of garlic bread...and I forgot to mention that my water intake was very good that day.

Later that night I was so frustrated with myself that I started…

Hey Jenn!

Thanks so much for your comment.  I didn't lose the weight on WW.  I've lost very little since starting WW actually, but I do feel that I'm learning to eat healthier.  I did old WW points, loosely on my own, I've calorie counted, and I've gone without an eating plan with and without writing down what I ate.

Truthfully I just did whatever worked and if it stopped working or I didn't like it anymore I'd come up with something else to try.  I may not be done trying plans.  I was just thinking of going from WW online to meetings.
