I have been out of the loop the past couple of weeks due to travel for work and being busy once I got back to work. I had a great trip to Phoenix. It was gorgeous weather. Got in a run on the treadmill and a one hour hike on Camelback Mountain. Very cool. I didn't do terrible with eating but not great either. I gained 2 pounds while I was gone. This time next week I will be in Phoenix, Arizona for week. I leave next Tuesday and return on Friday. I am very excited I have never been to that part of the country. I am hoping to be able to go hiking for a couple of hours one day. I am going to think through a food plan for traveling. I think that really helped me during my last trip at the end of January. I did oatmeal most mornings, found a subway for lunch and tried to be sensible for dinner. I will be traveling with people who…Continue
That is the amount lost since January 2, 2012. Technically I have been claiming 7 of that since I gained 7 in 2 weeks over Christmas. Anyway, whichever way you look at it - I am happy. Clothes are fitting better and someone even noticed the other day - gotta love the "first notice". I am glad. I am making better choices.

I did resist the chocolate peanut butter cups today but I ate a pack of cheese crackers late afternoon. Forgot a snack.
I need to take some time this weekend to think about my entire day. I made some great meals this week but did not think about snacks and I have not eaten veggies other than those in a main dish. So it has been a successful 5 weeks since the beginning of the year. I lost 2 more pounds last week which is great. But, ever since my Seattle trip I have not been journaling. My goal was to get back to it this week and it is Tuesday night and I have not written anything down...this is the beginning of the back slide.
