I've lost 58 and had a hard 4th of July, I didn't plan well enough, I think I subconsiously didn't so that I could blow it on all the good unhealthy foods we all enjoy at BBQ's. Well I did enjoy all of it and it made me sick sick sick, of course, I felt guilty, I beat myself up and was quite mean about it but have since forgiven myself and recommitted to getting back on track. So here it is the month of July is going to be a strong one, I am goaling 7 lbs by the 31st-Wish me luck!

I hit it, I made it to 50! Feeling good, a little less motivated but I'm there. It is final I am going to make it this time around. I feel the lifestyle change, it feels more natural now instead of forced.

I started January19th. As of this morning I have lost 40 lbs! I have 40 more to go to reach goal but it has actually been a lot easier than previous attempts to lose weight.
I've broken my journey into 4 parts. The reason I have done it this way is that I need an end in sight, I have tried this before and it gets extremely discouraging when it starts to feel like there is no end in sight. So to start I have broken it down to 4-12 week segments.

I started this journey a little over a month ago. Today I have lost 24 lbs, I know most of that was in the first two weeks. That doesn't mean I didn't work for it. By this time next year I will be at my goal weight but for today, today is all that matters. For me exercise is for the birds, but I found something I enjoy doing. HIKING! How great is that I found a work out that I enjoy, of course my lifestyle doesn't allow for me to go hiking daily but I do it when I can and I love it!

Feel free to browse around the site. You may want to start with setting up your personal page. If you go to 'My Page' at the top it is a very user-friendly process on setting up your page, privacy settings, etc. You can also read and post under 'Blogs' which is found under the 'Members' tab at the top. There are also different discussion forums and groups you can join if you are interested. Do as much or as little as you are comfortable with.
There is a lot to take advantage of so don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions!
