Home for the Holidays

I'm home now for 3 weeks! It's going to be a rough three weeks but when I came home for Thanksgiving I lost weight so I'm not complaining. I'm going to force myself to get at least a 30 minute workout in every day, especially since I'm not doing anything else. I'm also not going to weight myself until I get back to school. I need to buy and cook my own vegetables though, because everybody cooks everything as if it's soul food which is amazingly delicious but has a lot of butter/oil and salt.…See More

"CrossFit's Dirty Little Secret" and I guess this is also a general workout safety tip and information we should all know about Rhabdomyolysis. Maintenance and other general updates

Hey everyone! I miss y'all!Haha!Sorry I haven't been on in so long. School is crazy! I'm taking senior level classes as a junior and they're kicking my ass but I'd rather take them now so my senior year is smooth sailing. I hope everyone's journeys are going well. I've been trying to keep losing weight but I just haven't been putting in enough effort to lose, but I have been putting in just enough for maintenance. Things getting a little hectic

Life has gotten a little hectic within the last 2 weeks with moving out, the job, preparing for orientation training, etc. I will blog more when I get back into a routine. I lost 1.5 more lbs but I think I put on a little muscle with the weight training I've been doing for a weight loss of .5 lbs since the last time I weighed in with you guys. I'm not mad because I know the last time I built muscle, after increasing a little my weight dropped 2 weeks later.

Thanks for the birthday wishes Demara! :) Keep pushing forward and don't let the setbacks bring you down. We all have had our bad eating days or not working out days but as long as we keep trying then that is progress. Eventually we do it enough it finally sticks. :)
