Still Trucking

I have not blogged in a while but just kind of wanted to check in and update my progress.  I had pretty much given up for several weeks but then I realized I don't feel good, so I am off and running.After my sister's wedding I gave up, did not work out and ate whatever I wanted.  I ended up weighting in at 173.5 lbs.  I am not sure if it was the scale or the way I felt but I jumped back up and started again.  I have been working out 6 days per week and eating better and I feel better.  I am…See More

Monday Motivation

Today is weight in day, again I stayed the same 169.  I am kind of numb to that, I haven't done anything to change it so I did not expect anyting different.  I just so feel that need to be reinspired.I was on facebook earlier today and saw a post from a cousin that I have just recently came in contact with again, and she looks awesome.  She posted before and after pictures and has lost a ton of weight.  I asked her "secret" and she said what I expcected, "There are no secrets, I used weight…See More

Determined to do things the right way!

I am still struggling to get back on track after the wedding festivites of last weekend.  I came home from a jam packed wedding weekend to a house with no groceries.  Here it is Thursday and I have not been to the grocery store, so you can just imagine how my week has been so far.  Even with this I am not ready to throw in the towel; I will regroup this weekend by menu planning and grocery shopping.I was talking to my sister tonight explaining how I had been working out and eating so well, but…See More

Weigh In Day

I am starting today off with honesty.  I honestly did not want to weigh in; I am all to aware of my neglect of myself this last week.  I chose to indulge in whatever I wanted without working out.  I got up this morning and thought I can stay on this track and just continue like always or I can be honest with myself and make a change.  I choose honesty!  I am ready to make this change for a healthier me even if I stay the same or lose weight at .5 lbs per week.  I am going to be keeping a daily…See More

Can't Sleep:(

Wow, am I thankful for this little blog site that is allowing me to explore my feelings at 3 in the morning when I can't sleep.  I could blame it on my husbands snoring, but he snores every night and some how I manage to sleep just fine most nights.  The truth is I have horrible heartburn from a night of pure over indulgence and I am actually thankful for it. I have been tossing and turning in bed with that horrible burn in my throat trying to make myself sleep for a couple of hours and knowing…See More

Weigh In Day!

It is Monday time to face see my progress or lack there of from the view point of the scale. 

So today I weighed in at 169.5, not to bad considering it was a wedding weekend, I ate out for every meal.  I am not making progress because I have not really been trying like I should.  For the rest of this month I am taking part in Roni's Less Processed Food Challenge.  So it is a fresh start.  I will commit to not bingeing on the holidays and then waiitng for a fresh start for the new…

Welcome to BlogToLose! You'll find a lot of great support, encouragement and motivation here. Feel free to browse around the site. You may want to start with setting up your personal page. If you go to 'My Page' at the top it is a very user-friendly process on setting up your page, privacy settings, etc. You can also read and post under 'Blogs' which is found under the 'Members' tab at the top. There are also different discussion forums and groups you can join if you are interested. Do as much or as little as you are comfortable with.
