Over the last 4 years on Weight Watchers, I have been on the road quite a bit--vacations, visitng family, etc. I wouldn't say that I have it all figured out, but I have learned a few tips along the way that at least help minimize the damage.1. About Me:
I am a 30-something year old new mom who is loving life. I have a wonderfully supportive husband who is also a great father. We are blessed. I am not new to weight struggles. In fact, they've been there my whole life. In 2006 I lost 65 pounds and met my Weight Watchers lifetime goal. Unfortunately, over 40 of those pounds crept back on in my first year of marriage and then even more weight during pregnancy. I am working to get back to my lifetime goal--but more importantly, to get fit and healthy to keep up with my son and help him establish a healthy relationship with food.

Travel tips

Over the last 4 years on Weight Watchers, I have been on the road quite a bit--vacations, visitng family, etc. I wouldn't say that I have it all figured out, but I have learned a few tips along the way that at least help minimize the damage.

Setting a Goal--and staying there

Paula asked a couple questions about setting a goal, so here goes. I certainly don't have it all figured out. The first time I did Weight Watchers I lost 65 pounds, kept it off for 1.5 years and then put almost all of it back on! Today is my birthday--I turned the big 3-5. Honestly, I never really understood the big freak out about getting older, but maybe that's because I feel like I am getting better with age. Haha. Hi there!

Go and get the Wii Fit. It is a lot of fun and a good workout, if you do it right. It isn't a replacement for more serious exercise, but a great supplement. Since I live in Austin where it is starting to get too freakin' hot to do anything outside after about 8 am, this will be great for those days I can't get into the gym. :)

Oh and we can be online C25K buddies! haha...best of luck to you too...and don't worry if it was a bit hard, that's what makes the program so awesome, you can take it at whatever pace works best for you. Surely enough you will build up endurance though...or should I say WE will ;)

I wish I could find an indoor track! It's DEFINITELY too hot to run outside here in TX. It's breaking 100 degrees every day, it would just be murder for a beginner runner to attempt that, lol. An indoor track though, ahhh I wish. But I think that's a very smart and sneaky plan...no pool unless you've run first! I hope it works out for you!

Hey Christy...thanks for the comment. Other than the WW bread, what other breads count for 1 pt with two slices? I typically go for whole wheat grainy breads. I'm not really a fan of white breads! Hope you had a good day!

Hi! I used Photoshop Elements 5.0. I love the program and it's super easy to use. I sometimes pring out my stuff or I've used kodakphotogallery.com and through photoshop you can get your pages right on there and then I print out a book! I need to get better at it though and actually print stuff out!! How do you do yours?
