I have no idea how to do the blog thing, I just signed up for the gym at work and was planning on going when my ankle started hurting again due to inflamation of the tendon to my arch. Which sucks, I can't believe I signed up for this in Feb and it is already May where has time gone. I am no further then when I started to make some changes back in Feb. I am so frustrated. I got one email from someone that prompted me back to this site, and it turns out the profile is deleted but maybe it was a sign to get me back here (wherever that is) still feel very alone in this process.

Welcome! You are certain not alone in this--even when it feels like it. You will find that there is a great group of supportive women here that have been through the same kind of things. The best way to get involved is to write a blog post introducing yourself and your goals. and then just come back other days and post about your day--successes, struggles, things you need advice on, etc. To write a blog post click on the tab at the top of the page that says "my page" then in the middle towards the top you should see where it says "share: blog post, discussion, event, photo". Click on "blog post" and then type away. Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.

I do weight watchers myself, but I am confident that any plan works as long as it is something that you can stick to. Personally, I found that a restrictive plan where I couldn't eat certain foods didn't work well for me. I often joke that a life without cheeseburgers is just not worth living. All joking aside, I knew that I needed something that I could stick with for life, not just until goal weight (been there, done that, gained back 65 pounds that I had previously lost) I agree that it can be overwhelming. Just take it one choice at a time. Small changes over time gets big results.

Hey Cece.  You can do this.....I promise.  I know what you mean by not feeling like I am any further than when I started.  But I am further than when I started.  Emotionally...and I can spot my patterns before they start.  Weight wise, I'm up and down the same 10#s.

Don't think of blogging as daunting or that you have to be flowerie with your words.  Just think of it as a journal.  A journal of your feelings and your thoughts....that you are sharing with the rest of us.  I think that making connections with everyone will help you to not feel so alone.  Sometimes, I think that my friends and family get so tired of me complaining about my weight.  But here, y'all get it.

Good luck.  I look forward to seeing some posts from you soon.  Like Christy said, just click where it says --- add blog.

After the initial few days of being exited about the new goals and connections- I went home and ate a big mac and fries and felt like such a hypocrit and phoney, I wanted to crawl into a hole and just disconnect from this cyber world again and just give up.  But I am still here.   I do so good when I am work- tracking my food, drinking my water and eating my fruit, yogurt and such but when I leave work it is like everything is forgotten and I am not sure why. The trainer at work, emailed me and gave me direction to excercise and I just didn't do it.  I want to find out why I hold myself back so much.  I am not sure what is wrong with me. But am going to keep trudging foward and try not to beat myself up so much, I guess for now that is all I can do.

Good for you for not disconnecting and giving up! One big mac and fries isn't going to ruin you. Making more good choices than bad choices is a good place to start. Perfection isn't necessary. Make sure you are getting enough to eat during the day. I find that if I let myself get too hungry then by the evening and I want to eat everything in sight and just start making poor choices. When I was working, I would pack an easy to eat snack for the way home so that I didn't walk in the door starving and hit the pantry.
