About Me:
Much like most people on here, I am sure, I have struggled with weight my whole life. Never obese but never ideal weight for my height. I'm not obsessive. I have zero interest in being a size 2 and trying to maintain it. Ha! But I do want to be healthy and being healthy means shedding these last 20 or so pounds.
Life is busy, stressful and all that fun stuff. I need motivation to get moving more when all I feel is tired and drained. Yoga seems to be the answer. A strong dose of exercise and inner peace ... so I believe the answer is there in front of me. I just have this amazing ability to ignore it.

A New Year ... Welcome 2011 !

I have not fallen off the face of the earth but alas have fallen off the wagon ! Haha.

I haven't really binged or anything but every day my meals included carbs, carbs and MORE carbs.  I'm not someone who eats a lot of that being it is my problem food, but I did.  So, enter feeling bloated and sluggish.  Lucky though being at a nice Chalet, a top a mountain, leads to a lot of outdoor fun!


Back to reality and ready to take on the new year ...  This is the year I lose…

I'm finding blogging on Mondays to be quite cathartic. Thanks for reading ...

I didn't weigh in on Saturday. A bit disappointed too because I have been doing well. Duty called and well being in Real Estate you can't walk away from that.

I have my photo shoot on Thursday and it is stressing me beyond belief. I want to curl up under my covers and eat comfort food until then! Not smart when someone is about to take over 200 photos of me. Groan ... Why am I doing this again? Oh… Continue

Well thanks to all of you for the encouragement. Weigh in went well ... 1.6 lbs down. Which may not seem like much but I sure was happy. I am 1 lb from dropping under this dreaded 10 lb number I've been stuck at.
So I need to continue doing well this week and add more exercise. Working on it ... hard but fingers crossed!

Proud to report that I've done well this week. Maybe not with exercise but I have been tracking and really eating good!

I also started a new thing. A while back I overheard someone say that they use chop sticks for everything because it makes them eat slower. So, away went my fork and I have done the same this week. Quite amusing actually. And it does slow you down, especially when it takes 2-3 tries to pick the food up. haha

Welcome to B2L. I just joined last week and am enjoying it. I "officially" started WW online today, but I was doing it most of last week too. I'm wanting to start practicing yoga for the centering aspect as well as having had 3 back surgeries. Just need to find a good beginner class/dvd that won't have me in the shape of a pretzel. :)
