So, the lowdown today is I am exactly same weight as last week (last week was a good loss based mainly on eating habits and minimal exercise). That leaves me of a total of 4lbs to lose over the next 2 weeks to get to my goal weight before my trip. Possibly doable, but now the question is, was the goal weight I set for myself even right?

My trip is coming up in a little over 2 weeks, and I should be so excited. Instead, I'm sulking over how I will look in my swim suit and dresses. Bummer. We will spend lots of time by the pool (usually such a treat, but not when you feel huge). Maybe it's just the day, but I'm extremely tired and down and most of all, mad at myself for not kicking it in gear before this amazing trip, and realizing 2 weeks is not enough time to make the changes I would like. After this weekend's crazy binge episodes, I'm not up 1 lb from last week, as opposed to down 1 or 2 each week like I had planned. Now I've got a little more work ahead of me to make goal for my trip in 4 weeks! I WILL do it!
On another note, I was really analyzing what derails my healthy plans, and have discovered major binge eating in the evenings, even after a large supper are a huge culprit. I binge while watching TV, on the computer, etc. Sooo, I've added a reward to…Continue
My renewed motivation on Tuesday to get back in the game has gone so far, so good. Even though I was so doubtful that I could do it, I just kept taking it one hour, then one day, at a time. Tuesday and Wednesday I ate well and even worked out in the evenings! That’s a huge feat for me, just to get some exercise in a day. Thursday I ate well, but felt weird and didn’t have the energy to work out.
