I'm still alive but feel like shit

This broken record just can't ever seen to stay together:(I have really been struggling to get back on track now for a few months. I wish this was easier. Life is so busy and I just got out of habit for taking my "me time" by the end of the day i'm beat and I can't get up any earlier.I have no problem staying active, yes I need to do more but my biggest concern is my eating. Profile Information

About Me:
I am a stay at home mom of 3 children with the youngest 9 mo. I still have some baby weight to get off but even with that I have always been over weight that I can remember. I don't want to be a skinny size 6 or anything just want to be comfortable in my own body and with myself and how I look. I would like to loose a good 30 lbs at least. And just to be able to make healthy choices and it not to be so much work.

We my highest was 255 i have gotten to 196 twice between then and now (like with in last 6 yrs) but life always happens and stress gets the best of me.
I started ww in Mid Feb of this yr lost 18 lbs so now im around 230ish but I need to do this once and for all!!!!

Flustrated :(

I'm getting really flustrated, I think I'm eating good but have not seen a loss in weight for a while. I'm staying the same or go up. I know I'm not exercising like i used to do to the cold weather but this plateau thing i'm in is starting to get to the best of me.
I went to ww meeting and it all was really good information. My husband now had his hours switched so he will be home at supper time and i think this is going to make things even harder.
I need someone to give me a kick to get out and exercise!!!

Have been going through alot with my teenager who has had major anxiety issues and now major ocd :( it has taken a toll on both of us but I have gotten her help now it's time to take care of me again!!!!

I need some major motivation:( I was down 39 lbs and finally feeling better about myself and now lost that mindset and going backwards. I have gained at least 7  if not 10 back and cant get my shit together. 

I always get to the almost 200 lbs and lose it. I have no reason. My husband has had 2 months break off of chemo and life is going good. I do Piyo twice a week, volleyball once a week. I know it's all in what I eat but plan to do better and by noon I mess it up.

In a BAD funk

I have been doing so good then over the holidays I gained 5.4 pounds. ok I can deal with that, it's probably normal for most people. The week after I kicked butt and lost 5 of that in one week, Awesome right. Well then I got my period been dealing with some emotional issues and not taking time for me lately and got in this funk and over the last two weeks up like 6 pounds. Hi Becky. My eating plan is keep it simple. I eat as wholesome as possible. Lately my breakfast is a banana w/tablespoon of peanut butter. Lunch has been a BIG tossed salad with at least 4 veggies(peppers,mushrooms, cauliflower, carrots) & no calorie/no fat dressing and dinners bean dishes (enchiladas,bean soups) stews, and more cooked veggies. I do snack every few hours and that is usually fruit or cut veggies.

Now as wee are speaking I'm making some food journals or meal plans. I need to go grocery shopping and then I will have a better start. I need to start to try to jog some of the 5 mile fools five. Hey Becky :) You arent asking too much questions. Ive been working out 5 to 6 days a week. Some days I just go on the treadmill for an hour others I will do the treadmill and also throw in either kickboxing or weights ..Tonight I worked out  for an hour and 45 minutes. :D Eating... I keep it very low. I try to avoid carbs altogether. I eat a lot of Protein..Chicken breast, tuna, buddig meats, cheese, yogurt,pudding snacks when im dying for a treat..only 100 calories. idk Thats basically it.  :D

Thanks Becky! I've done WW for a little over a year, so that helps me keep my eating in check. I'm kinda a creature of habit, so I will eat the same breakfast or lunch for a few weeks until I get tired of it and then find something else. For me, it is just easier to have those two meals already planned out without much thought involved.

Breakfast ideas: oatmeal with banana and 1 T of pb, hard boiled egg sliced on low cal toast w/ fruit, smoothies, egg whites omelet with spinach and lunchmeat

Lunch ideas: leftovers, sandwiches, wraps, chicken salad, soup, hard boiled egg, smartfood popcorn, fruit,

Dinner ideas: Most of my meals come from Emily Bites. I like that she already has the nutritional information provided and they are something that the whole family will eat. The biggest thing there is just staying with the correct portion size (which can be hard because the food is so good!).

As far as snacks, early on when I was losing I had a morning snack and afternoon snack. Now I find it hard to fit that into my point allotment since I have fewer points to work with. I still have a one snack most days. Things like string cheese, greek yogurt w/ fruit, pringles stix, granola bars.

Hang in there lady. Unfortunately, it takes time for our bodies to respond sometimes. I averaged less than a pound a week--but eventually made it to goal after 15 months.

I'm of the mindset that whatever you can commit to (and begin to actually enjoy) is the "best" way to start exercise. If it is something you can't stick with, it doesn't matter how great it is because it probably won't get done for long. I did the Couch to 5k program to attempt running and was able to complete a 5k, but never really fell in love with it. I dreaded runs and found excuses why I couldn't do it. On the other hand, I started boot camp classes and absolutely LOVE them. I go 3-4 times a week and rarely miss unless something major is going on. It is HIIT like Angie Y talks about. Lots of strength training, but done in a way that keeps your heart rate up for the cardio aspect. This has been the #1 thing that has changed my body. I have built muscle and tightened everything up. Like I said, I haven't really dropped many pounds in the last 6 months, but I've gone from a size 10 to a size 6 (I was a size 18 at my highest weight). I also learned that the saying "You can't outtrain a bad diet" is SO true. It doesn't matter what kind of exercise I do, if I eat like crap I am going to gain weight. Hope this helps a bit.
