About Me:
I am a working mom of busy twins (4-12-10) and a Kindergartner who recently lost 30lbs after pregnancy. I am recovering from a broken foot (gained 10 back) and am ready to loose more weight. I like to walk but lack the motivation- it seems like I always have other stuff that is more pressing. I need to work on me some!

I stay active doing everyday activities

Weight Loss Goals

Beginning Weight 247
Highest: 257 (during twin pregnancy)
Current Weight 230
Goal: Lose 50 pounds

Daily Goals
Complete food journal
Eat WHOLE foods
Drink LOTS of water
Stay within calorie counter
Exercise/move/walk


Benchmark Goals:
Exercise 3 times a week for a total of 450 minutes before Jan. 1


Non-Scale Goals:
Fit into wedding dress
Run in the Warrior Princess Run 4-2011
Healthy 38 wk pregnancy 37 weeks with twins...totally acceptable
Be at Drivers License Weight -
have someone (other than family) comment on weight loss

Day 2- The Feel Good Diet

The Dr. recommended Insulin resistance diet was going OK. I was not feeling good, tired, not feeling like working out...absolutely starving after I did, so I was feeling like giving up. I started to re-read the book, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. I found the author had written a second book for people just like me...The Feel Good Diet. I have been very frustrated with my non-weightloss. This isn't easy for me. I am trying...and looking for someone to try along too. DH and I decided to go back to the reproductive endocrinologist to try to get pregnant again. It has been 18 months since we lost our Autumn and no successful pregnancy has happened. I know what you mean about gardening late...we started late LAST year and didn't get very good crops. This year started about a month earlier and so far it's good. Gotta be careful not to over water too, that was an issue last year I think.

I keep trying carrots with NO LUCK!...not sure what I am doing wrong. Trying celery this year and it looks good so far! Planted a salad mix that no one cares for though, not sure what to do with that now other than add it to store bought mixes that we like to use it up. Maybe I just cut it all and bring it to work for the gang here? hahaha
