 Today went very well if I might say so ;-)

I woke up to my alarm at 4:30 as planned, quickly changed into my workout clothes, downed a quick cup of coffee and off I went to the gym. The workout was fun and I came home in a good mood, ready for the day. It seems like the days I spend time on something good for me in the morning end the best way. I ate on plan, stuck to my calorie requirement under 1500, and drank some water before heading to bed before 9. Tomorrow will be…

Tomorrow is day 1 of WW Simply Filling. . I have my meals planned and am going to work out at 5am. looking forward to a great Tuesday!

weight: tbd (need to wi)


eggs and orowheat with coffee and 4tb half and half (4pts)

lunch is green chili pork loin with rice

snacks are 2 dannon light and fit greek yogurts with 2 apples

dinner is curried chicken and rice with veggies

before bed snack if needed is air popped…

We are camping for the weeknd and I am loving the downtime! Been making somewhat healthy eating choices but camping is hard to stay perfect. I'm hoping to check in a few times a week and give/get some support on our journeys. This week should be good since we have Monday off and I am feeling motivated! Off to walk the dog!

We don't have much going on this weekend.  Maybe a little shopping my daughter has a gift card that she wants to use.  I plan to get my meal plan set & figure out if I need anything from the grocery store to make it happen!  I also want to make it a habit to do much of my food prep over the weekend.  Doing so helps me eat the right things all week, which is half the battle!  I might even input my week into SparkPeople, to make life easier!  I didn't eat any ice cream last night even thought the cravings I was have were intense!  Just knowing that we have 2 tubs of my favorite ice cream in the basement freezer is enough to have it call my name on occasion!

My mom did a lot of rewarding with food too. Actually, food was basically the answer to any problem or celebration in our house growing up. I'm working hard so that my kids don't have to deal with the same issues when their adults that I'm having to work through now.

We are back from vaca!  Had a great time, stayed on plan and still going strong.  I highly recommend the LiveFit trainer!  DO IT!  Seriously though I cannot beleive how little the scale is moving but how my body is changing.  Clothes are fitting that I haven't worn and muscles are developing.  People are noticing!!!

Thanks Ali, I think you are really going to like LF!  My results were really slow, it works but it's no quick  fix.  It took time to see the results, but now I can see the transformation and this is only the beginning!  Take pics of yourself in a bathing suit or sports bar and shorts or undies (even if for your eyes only) to help you to see the progress.  Oh and take measurements too!!!

Hi Ali!  I'm glad that you are finding something that works for you with your sciatica.  I have a herniated disk in my back, and I went through a period where there wasn't a lot that I could do.  I went to physical therapy and it didn't seem to help much even walking caused pain, so I totally understand!  It took time and babying it, but it's been good for a while.  Enjoy your day with the family!  I can hardly believe that summer is winding down and before you know it the kids will be back to school!!!  Keep in touch my dear!

Thanks Ali!  It feels great to be in the 130's and to see how far I've come!  I have not been losing very much.  I'm getting close to the maintenance phase, yikes!  It was nice to hear form you!!!  Keep me posted!

Happy New Year Ali!  I like the idea of being able to separate joy from happiness because I really am grateful to have the life I have.  I think somewhere in the last two years I just went into fire fighter mode and just focused on addressing the issues as the arose instead of living life.  Time to turn that around and love the life I live!
