I am new here but I started running last year and I LOVE IT got up to seven miles trying to train for a half marathon then my knee cap went off track and I had to quit. Now back to it at three miles much more relaxed just doing it for enjoyment and not training for anything.

I figured I'd join up -- I'm in week 6 of the C25K and loving it. Hoping to run my first 5K in September and start in on 8K and half-marathon training as well. Looking forward to sharing with this group! :)

Hello! does anyone use the ipod + nike tracker for thier runs. Did you notice if the calories seemed right. i walked/ran on the treadmill for a short distance the first day i got it...and it said 215 calories on the treadmill...but over 400 on the nike. I calibrated it as well, so it should have been set. anyone notice anything like this on yours??

Hey guys- I need some of your lovely expertise. I've been running now for a little over a year and just doing it mostly for my enjoyment. I'm now in a big ol' rut; I'd love to increase my speed (I'm ridiculously slow)- any ideas on the best way to do that? Intervals? Or even better if anyone has a program/guide to follow I'd love it!
