One of the things that *I* do is...

When I make dinner for the family, and there are some lower point things and maybe a higher point food... I eat the lower ones first, so I wont eat too much of the higher one! :)

I keep a glass of ice water handy whenever I'm cooking. It keeps me from snacking on what I'm making and helps fill me up some so I won't over eat!

I also make myself a HUGE mug of tea when I get to work and sip on it for the entire morning before lunch. This keeps me from making the walk of shame to the vending machine!

Pickles! I love pickles, and am grateful that they are no points! They're a good go-to food when you want something salty and crunchy. If you get the sliced ones, you can drain them and eat them out of a bowl like crisps. I also eat jalapeno slices from the jar, but that might be too weird/spicy for some.

Oh my goodness Sarah! I do the same thing! I actually buy both jars from Costco. And just to take it to a weirder step, I sometimes take both in a bowl, add a tsp of popcorn seasoning and eat for a tv or movie snack! :)

I am also a pickle addict and am glad they are something to turn to when I just need something... I am also a big fan of popsicles... they are my new TV watching snack.. I think they are maybe a point.. plus I don't eat the whole thing anyway because my son always wants to share.. that might be my best new secret.. I share my dinner with my son now... If it is something he can eat...

I really fill up on veggies at every meal..or fruit in the morning...lower points and fills you up!...that and the water.

An obvious one, but I tend to have a pint glass of water with me wherever I am in the house and I simply refill that once it begins to run low! Means frequent bathroom stops though!

When I want something sweet to eat during my tv time at night I grab a Tootsie pop. It curbs my sweet craving and lasts a long time.

Oh! Another good one is putting cucumber slices in my water jug in the fridge, it gives it a new twist! Or lemon, lime, orange.. :)
