If everyone could start with where they are in the program and the results they have seen so far, that would be great!!!!

I am on week 5 day 2. My next run is 20 mins. straight. I am nervous, but excited as well. I was on week 7 in 2008 but had to stop because I was pregnant and couldn't run anymore.

I'm on Week 1 Day 2 and it was easier this morning. I've never been a runner, ever. So this is a big deal for me.

Good morning all - I did my first walk/jog session of C25k on Monday, then 30 minute fast walk last night around my neighborhood. My hips are a bit sore today and I remembered why I didn't complete the plan last time I tried - HIP PAIN!

So, I did a google search on the subject and came up with this article...

I don't think that anyone should stop C25k based on this but I'm going to take it slow and make sure to do other strength training exercises as well.

I completed Wk 1 this morning and I feel pretty good. The first two days I had pains and had that stitch in my side before the end of the first running segment but I pushed through and today, low and behold, no stitch at all. My knee was hurting on Wednesday but yesterday, it wasn't. Today my other ankle is a bit sore but I'm sure that it will also recover. This is serious exercise that I've never done before so my body is freaking out but it will calm down and before you know it 9 weeks will be over and I will be a runner!!
Keep going, don't stop.

I've just finished week 4...will start week 5 tomorrow, hopefully. Am loving it -- the feeling of being challenged but still being able to smash the through the challenge is awesome. And it's short enough that I can use it as part of a gym workout -- it enables me to keep a variety and to stop me from being bored, because C25K changes each time. (So I'll start with C25K, then swim for 30 minutes. Or I'll start with C25K, then do a weights circuit. Or I'll start with C25K, and do a Body Balance class. Or I'll start with C25K *laughs*...you get the drift.) It's brilliant.

Hi all,

I just did Wk 1 Day 1 and loved it too. This is the first time I've allowed myself to JOG during a running program and I think that made all the difference for me. No need to go fast right?

Hi there - I fell off this week, had a spate of migraines that really interrupted my C25k schedule. But, oh well, life happens as they say. I'm going to the gym this afternoon to start it up again.

It's a lovely day here in Ohio and am thinking of doing some yard work and taking the dog for a walk as well.

Started Wk 2 Day 1 today! It was tough but I was tougher!! Felt like I had started back at wk1d1 all over again but I know by Friday I will be just fine and ready for wk 3.

Liberella-hang in there...just get right back to it. Hope you are feeling better!

Okay...today is going to be Week 2 Day 1 for me as well....I am not running until later, but I will update when I do!
