Week 1 weigh in went pretty good!  Lost 2 lbs.  Not bad for working out only 2 times this week. It's been a pretty busy week for me at work but Ieat least eating was not a problem.

How is everyone else doing?

Congrats Agnes! Thanks for starting this group. It is great to have an opportunity to discuss certain aspects of this weight loss journey with others who have the same ultimate goal in mind. So far I have lost 12 pounds. I lost 14 between Jan. 11 and early March, but then stagnated and have gained two lbs back. I just posted about my thoughts on my progress, as well as some details about what I've been doing.

So how is everyone doing?  I completely fell off the wagon due to a death in the family and lets face it stress eating as we spent a week in the Hospital!  I am past that and it should only make me stronger.  I am getting back on track!

Sorry to hear that Julie....well I went to Aruba and there, lets just say is no dieting hahaha I wanted to enjoy my vacation. I wasn't paying attention to the food I ate but I made sure that we do a lot activities which I hope equalled everything out...we will see.

There is no food in my fridge so I decided to make whatever I had on hand: Toast with poached eggs, cheese, turkey bacon, cup of coffee. I am going to do some food shopping this evening with hopes for healthy dinner!

Hello all, my name is Mia...

I'm not married-yet, But I am hopeful of being so one day because I want babies...lol. There are plenty of reasons as to why I decided to lose but one main reason has always been because of pregnancy. Might as well start early huh?!? Anyways, thanks for creating this group! really appreciate it.

OK ladies, I have decided to get off the pill and cleanse my body for the baby!  I really need to get going on everything. Easter has already started for me and there will be a lot of food involved but I am going to take it easy and not overindulge only because it's a Holiday, but also I dont want to to stress too much about it. I want to enjoy my day!  Well I will let you all know how it went!

Anyone celebrating Easter?

Hello Agnes,

Thanks so much for starting this group.  I just posted in my blog about the beginning of my journey (http://www.blogtolose.com/profile/EnoughisEnough).  I was just diagnosed with PCOS two weeks ago and my dr insists that I need to lose 90 lbs.  I started my lifestyle change on 5/7/11 and I lost 12 pounds in the first week!  I'm so excited and a baby is great motivation for sure!!

HI Everyone! Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm trying to lose a bit of weight and tone up before trying for baby #2. I think that being in better shape will be a definite bonus for carrying the baby and helping with an easier delivery (had a really difficult one the first time around). Look forward to meeting the others in this group and keeping each other motivated. x

Hi! Are there any older first-time-moms-to-be out there? I'm 40 (yikes) and really want to get pregnant. But I'm worried because I have type II diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol. Sigh! I've got everything against me except for hope.

Hello, I'm an older mom of 1 and hoping and preying we can try for number #2 when I'm at goal weight. When you hit 40 they worry about you and when your over weight OMG do they worry. So to not have an issue I'm trying for 50 lbs....lost 25 already and feeling much better. But I still need encouragement as well.
