I have 6 months, but I'll do 6 weeks over and over again!

I'm getting married in 12 weeks - but my first fitting is about 6 weeks away. I've tried on the dress once (when it arrived) and it fits perfectly without a boustier. I'm hoping to drop 10 lbs before my fitting! It's going to be hard - but it's something to work toward!

My wedding is in 8 weeks. *hopefully*

My dress isn't anywhere near close to zipping up, but it was off the rack and the only other sizes were a 2 and a 24. For the price I paid, I was pretty lucky to find it in a 12. I really don't want to have to get a different dress because I really love the one I already bought and this wedding is expensive enough as it is.

I ordered my dress and it'll be here around 6/1. It fits in the bust and needs to be taking in through the hips. I'm hoping to lose enough weight in the next 3 months that it will need to be taken in all over.

Also, I'll still have another 2 and 1/2 months after the dress comes to take off more weight.

I am not getting married any time soon, but I'd like to lose a size, so I can fit into the size 12 pants that are sitting at the bottom of my dresser. I am finally comfortable in my fourteens so now it's on to the next challenge. :)

That's great, Jillian! My 16s are getting lose and I can fit into a few 14s (depends on where I bought it, etc.). My ultimate goal is to get down to a size 10 and stay there....forever. :)

I was just running (literally 10 minutes ago) and I was thinking I needed to see if there was a bride losing weight BTL group. And sure enough, the link was right on the main page! So, needless to say....I joined and am ready to go!

The date July 11th, 2009. I have my dress ordered. It should be arriving in one to two months. Yikes. I have need to get going again on the weight loss front.

Good luck ladies!

Hey everyone! Fiancee came to visit this weekend. He's stationed in SC so it will be nice once we are actually married and can live in the same state again. Needless to say, I splurged. Neither of us have eaten at a real restaurant in over four months and there was a ton of local places he wanted to hit up. On top of that, there was two pounds of fudge and a pound of chocolate truffles in the mix.

Not looking forward to my WI tomorrow.

Hello Everyone! I'm getting married in a over 4 months (July 18th, 2009). I am *really* hoping to lose 25-30 lbs by then! I ordered my dress in a size smaller than I would need to wear now (I tried the size I ordered on, it's a lace-up, and it was TIGHT but could lace without showing skin). I am currently doing Jillian Michael's 30 day shred (just started Feb 27). I'm also watching what I eat (logging it all in myfitnesspal, which I LOVE). We'll see where I am in 6 weeks! I'm hoping to be down at least 6 lbs.
