I am curious - do you journal all of your food/points or do you usually wing it?
do you plan ahead for days that could be stressful or out of control?
do you feel like you are not in control in certain situations? Or is it just random?
Are you a snacker? Are you spontaneous? A breakfast eater? Do you feel like you "have" to have dessert or a treat or that you somehow feel like you a missing out by being on Weight Watchers (a deprivation feeling)?
I think losing weight is a real learning experience. Some people just can do it and it "seems" to come naturally. Some people struggle because there are simply other things going on and not just an issue with food/weight. For the ones that just seem to lose weight, they have to learn things hard once they've reached goal - your brain has to catch up with your new body. For others we are in a constant state of figuring it all out - and you wonder, it works for them, why not me?
The answer, I'm afraid, lies within us. You honestly have to have a good hard look at what you are eating, when you are eating, how you are eating (planned? spontaneous? just "give in" and start tomorrow attitude?) and you have to find out what YOU personally have to do or change to get to where you want to be. For example, not a planner? Start. Just try it. Don't like vegetables? Try again. Keep trying. Don't say that you CAN'T or you WON'T. Celebrate each and every non scale victory ("I passed up the cookies today!" "I ate 3 servings of veggies today" "I drank all my water today!") and keep on going every single day until you find what works and change what you need to change.

Permalink Reply by CESAR SILVA on November 30, 2011 at 3:10pm Hello everyone,
The program you follow has to fit your style, for example, Im in this program thats called RVL just because I love the chocolate taste and the bars are amazing but what also as important is the WILL to get it done. When I started I had a friend that will come over to either run or exercise and even thought I only wanted to lose a handful of pounds we got it done. Now, I really dont like running but my determination of losing the weight was higher than my dislike of running. Bridget at the end of the day you are your bigger supporter and determination is everything.
You can do it...I know you can. We all hit plateaus in the plan and you just have to keep focused on your plan and really watch your portions. I know thats the only way I can do it. Weigh and measure. I think I know what portions look like but when I measure them I find my portions are not right and that creates no weight loss. Drink a lot of water too. That really makes a difference. Keep on going...You will succeed!
