What is the reason that you are having a hard time?
What is the reason you want to do this in the first place?
You have to dig pretty deep inside of you to determine what is important here. YOU have to find this, no one else can do it for you.
So let me ask you this too - do you get up in the morning, maybe go to work or take care of your kids or partner? do you pay your bills on time? Do you brush your teeth and shower regularly? What motivates you to do those things? Don't you just kind of do them? Can you imagine you call in to work and say "Boss I'm not coming in today I'm just not motivated" Or "sorry kids, you'll have to feed, bathe, dress and get yourselves to school, not motivated" Why is it then not just something you do like brushing your teeth or going to work?
You want something, you make yourself a plan, you go for it. You do it. There's no special something that will suddenly make you have this great desire to do so. You just do, it's what you do.
Does that make sense?
I'm saying this because regardless of trying I've lost no weight at all in the last 2 years. But what I do is eat right, plan, stay within my caloric boundaries as much as possible, run, go to the gym and generally take care of myself. I deserve those things and the number on the scale is secondary (for me now). So don't you deserve that too?
