Blog to Lose

No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!

There are so many things to do with greek yogurt besides eating it from the container.

What do you like to do with it????

Post it on here to help others try new things with it and get out of the box!!

I sometimes make sort of a parfait sort of thing-like I mix some truvia with the plain flavor and a little cocoa powder then I layer it with kashi cocoa beach granola and frozen blackberries.  Sometimes just only the granola-and sometimes Nature's Path peanut butter granola.

Sometimes I mix a little Bell Plantation PB2 with it (and some truvia) and use it as a dip for slices of granny smith apples!

I love it mixed with blueberries and cinnamon. Yum!

I add stevia & cinnamon then top it with fresh berries!  I also use it instead of sour cream on top of taco salads.  Tried it in a tuna salad & it was ok but not as good as mayo.  I love the fact that it has a good amount of protein!

I made a pretty awesome breakfast smoothie this morning that included greek yogurt.

It was the first time I made it and it turned out great! ..The ingredients include the following:

Oats, chia seeds, greek yogurt, fresh strawberries, fresh banana, skim milk.. blend until smooth. Let sit for a minimum of 4 hours and you have a thick scrumptious smoothie!

It was very tasty, and filled me up. Around 350 calories too.. a great lunch or breakfast :)

Ooo. It never occured to me to sweeten it myself. I tried it once, wasn't thrilled but have given it a second chance. I'm liking the Dannon Light and Fit Vanilla for just eating purposes. It's awesome with some added fruit. Plain would be a heck of a lot more versatile. Sweet and savory, if I season it myself.
