What was your favorite "So worth every high calorie I consumed" goody this holiday season?
What was your "It sounded good, but, wasn't so great and not worth it!" item you consumed this past holiday season?
And to balance things out:
What's a healthy food you've been reacquainted with in the last few months that you can't get enough of!? :)

And the one that was not worth it was the cheese ball and crackers I ate.
But I am so addicted to frozen grapes that I eat them like candy even through the holidays.
Permalink Reply by Ali on January 4, 2012 at 10:59am 1.) So worth every high calorie I consumed--Stuffing. Stuffing that cooks inside of a well basted turkey is...amazing and worth the poundage :)
2.) It sounded good, but, wasn't so great and not worth it-- pizza, we had a lot of pizza last month and some of it was just...so so. Not worth it at all. Ugh. I hate how greasy it makes me feel!
3.) A healthy re-acquaintance-- hummus. I've discovered Lemon Cilantro Hummus along with Roasted Red Tomato Hummus at my local Fresh and Easy store. Just heat up a loaf of olive bread, dip it, and it's the best snack ever! Not too bad in calories at all.
But strangely enough, as much as I porked out the last two months really, I didn't gain any new weight. In fact, I've dropped some which I have know clue how that's even possible, but, it is what it is :)

Not worth it: the few bites of reheated green bean casserole I tried to eat--NOT good reheated

About the only thing that was worth every high calorie I consumed was mostly alcohol related - prosecco, good wine, lemoncello.
It sounded great but.....none, really that I can remember
I haven't really been 'reacquainted' with any healthy food the last few months but I did become just acquainted with almond milk and chocolate soy milk and LOVED them both!
