No matter the plan... we all Blog to Lose!
I started my weight loss journey in January 2011 at 227 lbs, size 22. I couldn't go up the stairs in my house without feeling winded. I felt tired, uncomfortable and miserable all the time. As the weight started coming off, I felt more and more motivated to keep it going and not quit, like I have so many times before. I started running (my first time on the treadmill, I jogged slowly for 10 seconds and felt like I might die). I fell in love with running and became addicted to races. I am now over 80 lbs down and training for my 3rd half marathon!
My success has been due to being brutally honest with myself, eating better, exercising, and staying accountable to myself and others through my blog and my blog's Facebook page. My hope is that I can successfully get to my goal weight and then maintain throughout life...and maybe even inspire and encourage others who are struggling with their weight as well!!
