A Little History

It all started with a weekly update of my weigh-in on my family web site. Friends and family started giving support online and I decided to start a little page (it’s not so little anymore) on the side to track my progress. Soon that page turned into 3 or 4. I started archiving recipes, ideas and food finds. My traffic increased and readers offered even more support. This support was helping me achieve a 70 pound weight loss!

 

It has been over 5 years since achieving my weight loss goal and my site is more active then ever! I even expanded and started a healthy food blog to share my ideas, recipes and others are sharing theirs. This gave me the idea of creating a blog community for those who wanted to give and get support. Having the blog(s) has helped me tremendously to reach my goals. I truly believe a community of people with such similar weight loss goals and challenges is an invaluable tool.

Who am I?

My name is Roni. I say this all the time but I’m just a girl who started a site to track her progress on Weight Watchers. I still keep my sites going strong. Now that I’m maintaining my weight loss I devote a lot of time to “lite” recipes and finding low point (calorie) snacks to share with everyone.

 

I can’t stress enough how thankful I am to my readers for the support, encouragement, and kind words. If it wasn’t for them I’m not sure I’d be at goal and this site would not exist.
